This position will provide network development, maintenance and refinement activities and strategies in support of CLIENT’S PROJECT Network Management. The successful candidate will be accountable for all aspects of facility, non-facility and ancillary recruitment and contracting in assigned PROJECT international countries/territories. Builds strong relationships with providers and key contacts to support on-going negotiation efforts. Negotiates solo, complex group, hospital-based, and large entity physician contracts in support of PROJECT network quality, availability and financial goals, in assigned territories. Collaborates with other client contracting areas  and provides support for CLIENT’S credentialing and provider data management functions. Understands medical cost drivers and executes specific network access and adequacy initiatives to support operational objectives. Partners across the organization to garner support for network contracting activities to ensure all aspects of operational implementation are completed on a timely and accurate basis. Addresses high profile provider issues raised by beneficiaries or the Government, and identifies provider educational opportunities.



Skills/Experience

Proven, successful track record negotiating hospital, physician, or ancillary provider contracts – international experience is a plus. Demonstrated collaboration expertise across multiple functional areas is critical. PROJECT or Military Health System experience is preferred. Mastery of provider contracts, contracting options, PADU guidelines as well as provider configurations is necessary. In-depth knowledge of host nation health care business, country/territory specific regulatory/legal requirements, products, programs, strategy and objectives, along is important. Critical skills include negotiation, solid decision-making, and ability to execute on a local and regional level.



Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Proficiency with a second language is a plus.
